Baked Cabbage Steaks
INGREDIENTS
1 Green cabbage
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel off and discard a few of the outer leaves of the cabbage, trim down the bottom stalk, and rinse under cold water. Thickly slice the cabbage into steaks (about 6 steaks from 1 cabbage). Lay steaks flat on a parchment-lined baking sheet. In a small dish, stir together 1-2 minced garlic cloves and maybe 1/4 cup of olive oil. Brush both sides of steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes on each side, or until edges are brown and crispy. Serve immediately.
